Certified Ayurvedic Trichologist

Hey there                              I'mLiz

I entered the beauty industry because I loved helping women feel confident, but over time I realized the salon environment wasn’t where I felt joy. Hairstylists absorb a great deal of their clients’ energy, and as an empath, that weight became too much to carry, both physically and mentally.

I started noticing how dysregulated many of my clients felt. They were overstimulated and depleted, craving real, intentional care. Stress, illness, and lifestyle changes were all triggering nervous system responses that caused their hair to behave differently. When I dove deeper into the root cause, I found that scalp health was directly connected to those same stressors.

That realization changed everything for me

After 15+ years behind the chair, scalp treatments offered something I hadn’t experienced before: restoration. It wasn’t just about appearance — it was about nervous system support, intentional touch, and giving clients a space to finally reset.

After moving to Greenville in 2025, I found myself reconnecting with nature in a deeper way. I began studying herbal wellness and scalp health together, blending my background in hair with a growing belief that the earth offers powerful tools for restoration. Nature became more than a backdrop; it became a way of life. Plants with medicinal properties are all around us, and healing doesn’t always have to come from something complicated or clinical.

The more I learned, the more I realized people are craving reconnection, not just to themselves, but to nature itself. That belief became the foundation of my work.

My approach to scalp care is rooted (pun heavily intended) in the idea that healing should feel grounding, intentional, and deeply restorative. Every element, from the flowing water and calming touch to herbal preparations and a relaxed environment, is designed to help you slow down and reconnect with your mind, body, and soul in a world that constantly pulls you out of balance.

My background in hair gives me an understanding many head spas don’t have. I view the scalp from both a cosmetic and functional perspective, and I understand the deep emotional relationship you have with your hair. Hair holds stress, identity, confidence, and personal history. Restorative care should honor all of that.

That’s why every experience inside Sacred Hour is intentionally personalized. You control the elements of your session, from the tools used to the music you hear. Here, wellness is safe, supportive, and personal, like stepping away from the noise and back into yourself.

When my husband and I moved to Greenville, I had to build from nothing. Starting over forced me to trust the vision before there was any proof it would work. I wasn’t just creating a service; I was creating the kind of space I believe people are desperately missing.

Over the past year, my clients have reflected that back to me again and again. They feel lighter, calmer, more grounded, and genuinely cared for after their sessions. Many arrive expecting a scalp massage and leave realizing they experienced something more: a reset for not just their scalp, but their nervous system too.
